First and foremost Narconon is primarily staffed by former addicts who have gone on to become trained as
addiction recovery specialists. Our staff has ‘been there and done that’.
We know full well what it takes to overcome the cravings, the guilt, and the depression. These are the key points in creating and then continuing addiction, and are also the key points that need fully and completely addressed if one is to create a drug free productive life.

Drug Rehab Information By State
At Narconon Arrowhead we do not use the term
rehab patient when referring to our program participants. Instead we use the word “student” as it more accurately reflects what is occurring in our program. At Narconon Arrowhead once withdrawal from use is achieved and is followed by a full bodily
detoxification then student is then ready to gain the life skills and abilities needed to pursue a drug free productive life.
Cravings, guilt and depression must be confronted, dealt with, and eliminated is one is to achieve a lasting drug free existence.
These skills and abilities can be learned and successfully applied.

The chemical cocaine hydrochloride is commonly known as cocaine. Some users chemically process cocaine in order to remove the hydrochloride. This process is called ‘freebasing’ and makes the drug more potent. ‘Crack’ is a solid form of freebased cocaine. It is called ‘crack’ because it snaps and cracks when heated and smoked.
Traditionally, cocaine was a rich man's drug, due to the large expense of a cocaine habit. Now, crack is being sold at prices low enough that even adolescents can afford to buy it. But, this is misleading, since once a person has a crack cocaine addiction, his ‘habit’ often increases, and so does his expense.
Drug
rehab facilities are not all created equal and many different types exist.
There are in-patient and out-patient facilities, long term and short term, drug therapy and drug free, traditional and non traditional, just to name a few of the differences.
Narconon Arrowhead is a long term in that rather than having a set time span, we operate off of results and this varies by individual.
Average time is 90-120 days.

addiction with other ‘maintenance’ type drugs is counter productive to producing a truly drug free productive life. We are also non-traditional and do not treat
